Friday for lunch me and Steve (my husband) went to Vogue Bistro. This place is going to get to know me by name! I absolutely loved it. It looks perfect for date nights and any time we can sneak away from the kids for a while, and the best part it is very close to our house. I had the Vogue Burger with Angus Beef, Gorgonzola Blue Cheese, bits of apple-wood smoked bacon, caramelized onion chutney and arugula. It was the perfect combination of salty and sweet, as well as very filling, I brought 1/2 of it home. Steve got the Tomato and Mozzarella Panini with basil, which he devoured pretty quickly with a good rating. We shared the Bruschetta which had greens, balsamic vinaigrette, Brie and an apple fig chutney. Very tasty. I wanted to try the Creme Brulee but there was no room after lunch. Steve had two glasses of a Sauvignon Blanc that he said was great. The patio looks very inviting, but that will have to wait until it cools off a little more. For me, this place was an A, the waiter was very nice and informative, the atmosphere was excellent, the food was fantastic and it gets extra points for the proximity to home. Even though I would tell people it was worth the drive.
