Have you heard of Julia Baker Confections? If you are a chocolate lover like me, chances are you have! I live in Arizona and this is a company we can be proud to have based here. This is not a sponsored post, but in fact a true infatuation!
With Valentines Day coming up, I feel I should let all the guys out there know what women really want, CHOCOLATE! I love how Valentines Day is the one day you can ask for Chocolates as the highlighted gift. I am probably not the best one to give Valentines day gift advice, give me Chocolates, a good Steak and maybe a high quality bottle of Booze and I am a happy camper!! If I get flowers I want some that can be planted so they last a long time, and Jewelry is just not really my thing. Guys, spend some time researching your lady to determine the best gift, but somehow I feel you can’t go wrong with Chocolate.
If you want to get some great chocolates for your significant other, check out Julia Baker Confections! Not only can you stop in their shop at:
Biltmore Fashion Park
2502 E. Camelback
Phoenix, AZ 85016
But you can also order online at their WEBSITE
and follow them on Facebook.
So what is so good about them? For starters they are beautiful, the box is elegant, just looking at the packaging, you know you are about to get something special. Then the chocolates themselves are exquisite, they are like the edible equivalent of jewelry. My absolute favorite is the French Caramel Truffle. It is rich and delicious and the Caramel just pops in your mouth when you bite into it. A must try in store is a Red Velvet or Dark Chocolate truffle, they are absolutely fantastic!
As you can clearly see I take chocolate seriously, and this weekend I can get my fill of all things chocolate at The Glendale Chocolate Affair, in downtown Glendale. Check out the details HERE. I am going to be in chocolate utopia!!

Worst Cooks in America:
Hit primetime series Worst Cooks in America is back for a fifth season this winter, with superstar chefs Anne Burrell and Bobby Flay returning for a brand-new battle to turn kitchen disasters into culinary success stories. Premiering on Monday, February 17th at 9pm ET/PT, the seven-episode season pits formerly undefeated series champ Anne against last season’s winner Bobby, each leading a team of disastrous cooks in an intense culinary boot camp designed to turn them into confident kitchen heroes. A $25,000 grand prize will be awarded to the contestant who achieves the most impressive culinary transformation, in addition to delivering a victory and bragging rights for their team leader.
Food Court Wars:
Host Tyler Florence returns for the second season of Food Court Wars, premiering Sunday, February 23rd at 8pm ET/PT on Food Network. Over the 13 episode series, Tyler travels the United States, helping aspiring entrepreneurs realize their lifelong dreams of opening a restaurant, with a chance to open their own spot in a local mall food court, rent-free for a year. But first, two teams must battle it out against each other over the course of 72 hours, as each team must create an irresistible food court concept, market it and then outsell the other team in a single day of business at the mall. The winning team is rewarded with their very own, new food court restaurant.
Good luck on your Valentines Day shopping! Choose wisely my friends!
