I have wanted to try Spaghetti Squash for a long time, but always thought it would be difficult to prepare. I could not have been more wrong, it was easy and so delicious as well as a good way to stay away from pasta if you are looking to do that. I followed the instructions I found online, made sure to puncture my squash several times, put it on a baking sheet and baked it at 375 for 1 hour. I waited for it to cool slightly, cut it in 1/2 and scooped out all the seeds and squishy innards. Then I took a fork and raked the insides of the squash which came apart in a spaghetti like consistency. I sprinkled it with a bit of garlic salt, used my favorite meat sauce on top, made some garlic bread and we had and everyone loved it, even the kids who did not really seem to notice the difference.
For fun I added a video taken a few years back that perfectly represents how I felt today and several days last week………..watch it and you will get it. ~Enjoy
