I love writing about cocktails. Well maybe in all honesty I love trying out new cocktails. Last month I decided to make Boozy Caramel Apple Bites. In the process I also made a Caramel Apple Martini with the leftover Caramel Vodka. Wait, there is really no such thing as “Leftover” vodka. Maybe I should call it “Bonus” vodka? I need to figure that one out. If I start saying leftover vodka my friends will start showing up to take it off my hands. I certainly don’t want that.
This post is just full of mispoken words! Because in all actuality the drink is not a true martini. It was just served in a beautiful martini glass. No Gin. No Vermouth. But I am going to keep calling it a martini just the same. You know where to send the complaints.
Anyway this is a Super easy and amazingly delicious cocktail. My good blogger friends at Sassy Dove & Asha Butterflys can attest to it’s awesomeness. It’s so sweet & creamy and just like a Caramel Apple!
As I said in the Boozy Caramel Apple Bites post I used SMIRNOFF® KISSED CARAMEL® Vodka. I soaked Granny Smith apples in it overnight for the bites. I then used this vodka for the Martini’s.
2 parts Caramel Vodka **I always keep my vodka freezing cold.
1 Part Martinelli’s Sparkling Apple Cider
Pour over ice into shaker. Shake and then pour into Martini Glass. Garnish with Apple or a Boozy Caramel Apple Bite for that extra kick.
What is your favorite Holiday Cocktail? Post a link and I will check it out!
